Striving to offer another educational option, the Faculty of Psychology at Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila invites the third chance applicants to study the bachelor’s degree in Psychology during the August-December 2020 semester completely online.
The director of Facultad de Psicología, Karla Valdés García, said that this initiative was born due to the high demand for the career, “this modality allows us to have a greater outreach and better access for students who could not be admitted in the face-to-face modality, so we are offering 30 places”.
She commented that for studying Psychology at UAdeC, with this new academic alternative there are already three modalities to choose from: Face-to-face, Blended and Online; Likewise, she mentioned that, since last semester, professors have been working in a Blended mode with 30 students and those are about to start the second semester.
Valdés García, highlighted that the Online Study Plan is the same as the other programs with a duration of nine semesters; Modules and subjects are subdivided into blocks and lessons, and it is carried out through the platform “Campus Virtual de la UAdeC” from the Office of Distance Education
“One of the greatest advantages of online education isthat the teaching-learning process is based on competencies in conjunction with the permanent support of our specialized professors in each area, thus guaranteeing the academic excellence of our students,” she said.

The Bachelor of Psychology program aims for students to develop the capacity for flexibility, leadership and creativity, as well as establish service oriented vocation for the community and lifelong learning through the application of scientific tools for the analysis and interpretation of human behavior.
After completing their preparation, our psychology professionals will use their knowledge, skills, aptitudes and attitudes to promote mental health, prevent disease, as well as improve the quality of life in the educational, social, clinical, occupational and experimental fields as well as in areas such as Psycho neurophysiology and Criminalistics.
