UAdeC Offers Master’s Degree in Energy and Energetic Sustainability

Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila through Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas of the Torreon Regional Campus calls for professionals in areas related to Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Systems, Industrial, Chemical, Biochemical and Biotechnology Engineering to study a Master’s Degree in Energy and Energetic Sustainability in January 2021.

This program aims to train high quality professionals in the field of clean energies and sustainability, with the development of interdisciplinary skills to promote the scientific research, innovation, technical development and the creation of  networks to design, optimize and evaluate the viability of the clean energy processes and how that impacts on the regional and national development.

Candidates can register until October 26,2020, the preparation course will be from November 3 to 20, and the knowledge test will be applied from November 23 to 27. The interview and psychometric test are scheduled from December 1 to 11, the results will be announced from January 11 to 15 and the enrollment process from January 18 to 22, 2021.

Applicants must satisfy basic requirements such as: a degree in an area according to the study program; the preparatory course and the written exam with a minimum of 80 points; a successful personal interview before the members of the “Basic Academic Nucleus”; EXANI III with a higher grade than the general average and TOEFL exam with a minimum score of 450 points.

The study plan consists of four semesters and includes accentuations in Solar energy, Energy from biomass and Energetic efficiency, divided into 12 possible optional subjects related to each discipline; During this program, participants must be full time students.
